JUly 9th: Lucia’s adventures in Ontario

Wednesday!

So yesterday I went down to Niagara Falls on my own. That’s it. Everyone else wanted to play volleyball on the beach so I thought this was my chance to get my USA visa issue settled. I took a bus to Niagara Falls, which turned out to stop at the coach terminal – you’d think this was close to the falls, but it was not nearly close. I bought a map at the Terminal, not knowing where I was, and realized the coach terminal did not appear on the map. So I followed the river. The streets were empty. It was creepy, honestly. The sky was clouded and the air was thick and humid like the worst storm ever was coming. I could see the Falls far, far away, but still I just walked. Then I saw a group of weird-looking people sitting on the street. I sped past them pretending to know where I was going and this guy asked if I had a lighter. I said no without even stopping or slowing down and he shouted: “Where are you from?” I thought for a second and then shouted back: “Who cares?” Which was pretty random, I admit.

I finally got there after about an hour. I crossed the bridge and had my new visa stappled onto my passport. Then I managed to take a bus back to the Terminal Station, and once there I got on the coach back home. Walking home from the Station in Toronto, a chinese guy bowed to me. That was funny. He actually bowed.

So about my punishment: I’ll work on it. About questions… I hate you for asking me about wishes (We actually did this exercise in one of my classes today). I wish for great health and a MacBook (since it’s a wish, let’s make it a MacBook Air).

What else did I get asked…  oh right. I do not hate you for punishing me, Cris. And my present for Bush would be a huge box of condoms – the ones that make the pleasure last longer and that sort of shit. I honestly think he needs it, for many reasons.

About my favorite painting… do I have to pick one? That’s like making someone pick ONE book or ONE song, it’s just mean. My favorite painting used to be the Creation of Adam, but since I don’t believe in the Bible it just doesn’t make sense anymore. So I guess I could choose… one of a Train by Turner. I love William Turner. You know, the ones with the smoke from the train… they’re awesome.

My turn to pose questions and the same question goes for both of you, because we never said we had to come up with two different questions every day:

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? In your hole life, what unexpected stuff have you done, what risks have you taken, what have you done on a whimp, without thinking? Drunk stories are wellcome too.

That’s all folks!

I miss you both so much!!!!!!!

xoxo.

  1. You went to Niagara by yourself? That’s awesome! ^^ And people are stupid.
But why did yo cross the border? Everybody knows the best part of Niagara Falls is in Canada xD
The lighter guy just creeped me out… That was a good answer! haha

You sound a bit melancholic here. Are you ok?

    Have fun, kiddo!
    mwah

  2. Being abroad , going somewhere on your own sounds great. I wish I wasn’t so stupid and did things like that…

I hope you enjoyed your visit to The Niagara Falls!

    :3

  3. I’m melancholic because I’m mourning the death of my laptop, guys. I took it to the store and they said it was irreversable (technically I can be fixed, but for over 400 euros… ) so I am isolated, which is… Great.
I only went accross the bridge to get my new visa, I had already been to the Falls on Saturday!
